Via strives to assist all adults in the Mobile community. Our community services include home care management, emergency assistance, transportation and information and referral.
Our Home Care program provides one hour of light housekeeping and social support per week to homebound older adults. For those who qualify, only a small donation is appreciated.
Via provides emergency assistance in the form of limited funds for utility assistance and food pantry. Those who qualify can get immediate assistance for utility bills and/or up to 32 pounds of non-perishable food items.
Transportation is available to the Center for members within a 5-mile radius.
Outreach recreational, health and fitness programs are offered to local housing sites for older adults.
We provide hurricane preparedness assistance and emergency utility services for hurricanes and other natural disasters. Our Center is designated as a comfort station for post-disaster assistance.
